I’m not flexible! Is Reformer Pilates for me?
Hey, join the club, lots of us aren’t flexible that do reformer Pilates. When I first started I found it super frustrating, why couldn’t I have my mums genes in that department!
But here’s the good news! You DON’T need to be flexible to take part. Yes we work on mobility but the focus is on the form and strength we are building, which in turn will help your flexibility.
Picture this, do you want to be a Bambi on ice that has no control over their body as it falls or would you rather have the control and strength to keep you upright and save you from falling. I’d 100% want the second!
We have a mix of clients with different ranges, all working on their own things and I can promise you no one is watching you, they’re all focusing on their own training and body (and not falling off the kit!).
So if your flexibility or lack of is putting you off, DON’T let it, let your focus be on building the strength you need for life 💪🏼
